Pemko #223NB Door Shoe Sweep, U Shaped Aluminum with Rain Drip and .25" Nylon Brush

Door shoes are used to seal the area under a door with minimal effect on the appearance of the face of the door. In addition to sealing the gap under the door, door shoes provide protection for the bottom of the door which prevents abuse and lengthens the life of the door.

Seal: This door shoe sweep consists of an aluminum channel with a Nylon Brush insert. The brush insert seals gaps up to .25” and conforms well to surface irregularities, making it a great option over uneven floors, such as tiles and stone. The bristles remain flexible in extreme weather to ensure a proper seal through all conditions.

Rain Drip: The casing has a rain drip design which provides extra protection against weather by deflecting water from the bottom of the door.

Casing: It has a U Shaped design compatible with 1.75" doors. The U Shape has more stability than its L Shaped counterpart, but the door needs to be removed when door shoe is applied. An additional channel hangs .25" off the door which stabilizes the nylon seal and prevent it from bending. The casing extends 1.125" up the face of the door and .625" along the back of the door. Please review product specs to ensure this model is compatible with your door. The case is punched with elongated slots for easy adjustments when applying.
