Adams Rite Electric Strike 7130 / 7131, For Adams Rite Deadlatches and Cylindrical Locks, For Aluminum Jambs

Adams Rite offers a wide range of electric strikes compatible with many locks in different applications. This electric strike is for Adams Rite Deadlatches and cylindrical locksets with 1/2" - 5/8" latchbolt projection, and is designed for use in narrow stile aluminum applications. 

Faceplate: 

• 7130: Flat with radius corners
• 7131: Radius to match nose on inactive leaf in a pair of narrow stile doors

Faceplate is designed to cover the strike opening when converting from an MS® pivoted bolt deadlock to a deadlatch.

Strike Opening: Stainless steel bolt retaining keeper

Strike Lip: Basic strike has lip of proper length for 1-3/4" (44.5 mm) thick door that closes flush with jamb edge. Lip extension kits available separately (for 7130 model only) for door thickness or jamb shape that differ from this standard relationship.

Operating Mode: 

• Fail secure: Unlocks when energized; in the event of a power failure the strike remains in a locked condition.
• Fail safe: Locks when energized; in the event of a power failure the strike remains in an unlocked condition.

Please note, AC intermittent solenoid is not compatible with fail safe mode and cannot run continuously to keep the door locked.

DC continuous units are silent, AC intermittent units “buzz” on operation.

Lock Compatibility: 4510, 4530, 4700 (discontinued), 4900 Series Deadlatches and 8400 Series Mortise Exit Device, or any cylindrical locksets with 1/2" - 5/8" (12.7 mm - 15.9 mm) latchbolt projection.

Operation: Electrical actuation unlocks the keeper and releases the latchbolt so the door may be opened without operating the latch itself. Electric strikes are used in conjunction with mechanical locksets and a card reader, keypad or button to provide electrical control of remote operation.
