Pemko #217AV Door Shoe Sweep, 36" Length - QuickShip
This door shoe weatherstrip is ideal for protecting the bottom of doors and sealing the gap up to half an inch at your door bottom from sound and light. This door shoe sweep covers the bottom of the door while barely affecting its overall appearance. It is fire and smoke rated and can be applied to doors 1.75" thick.

Door shoes are ideal for protecting the bottom of doors while only barely affecting its overall appearance. This U Shaped Door Shoe Sweep is rated for fire and smoke. It can be applied to 1.75" thick doors and can fill gaps of .5 inches.

It is available with PemkoPrene™ inserts. PemkoPrene™ is a thermo-plastic elastomer which stays flexible in temperatures between -70º and +250ºF, making it ideal for exterior doors and ensures a longer-lasting product than its vinyl counterpart.
The fingered design conforms well to uneven floor or threshold surfaces, ensuring a proper seal constantly. The high quality aluminum casing is designed with elongated slots for easy installation and adjustments.
Installation instructions and screws provided. Screws are colored to blend unobtrusively with casing.

PemkoPrene™ (Thermo-Plastic Elastome -TPE, Thermo-Plastic Rubber-TPR): A common trade name for PemkoPrene is “SantoPrene”. This material possesses the same flexibility and durability common to natural rubber compounds. Additionally, PEMKO has selected these materials because of their outstanding resistance to cleaning fluids and disinfectants as well as for their everyday resilience and low impedance to opening or closing requirements on door assemblies.
Eco-V™(Vinyl): This rubber is comparable to PVC Vinyl (listed in chart below). However, Eco-V is newer, greener and more environmentally friendly version of PVC Vinyl. It has been tested for a number of harmful chemicals and has low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Emissions, to ensure they are safe for indoor environments, especially schools and healthcare facilities. Eco-V complies with UL Listed Green Guard requirements and aids in achieving or exceeding criteria in green building ratings programs, such as LEED and Collaborative High Performance Schools (CHPS). Additionally, Eco-V surpasses the quality and durability of traditional vinyl gasketing, resulting in a longer service life and less need for replacement.
