The bulb design is a safety feature that prevents fingers from being hurt when caught between the doors, without minimizing seal effectiveness. Surface mounted application. This meeting stile is both a safe and effective seal that prevents the infiltration of drafts, moisture, dust, insects and light, while simultaneously preventing fingers from being caught between the doors. Available in three finishes and is custom cut to size.

Key Features Include:

Seal: This Meeting Stile is fitted with an EPDM Bulb Seal. EPDM is comparable to Neoprene Rubber but is more environmentally friendly and has overall better performance than neoprene. EPDM has great soundproofing properties and is resistant to solvents. It is very flexible in all weather conditions and conforms to surface irregularities.

Application: Meeting Stile is surface mounted to the edge of the door. The seal is screwed into the the door edge and compresses against the opposite door to provide a proper seal.

To seal larger gaps of up to 1.5" between double active doors, install this bulb seal on the edges of both doors. Measure required length for one door and set 'Quantity' to 2.

Dimensions: Meeting Stile measures 1.375” wide and, when installed on one door, can fill gaps of up to .75”. See product specs. A seal on both doors can seal gaps as large as 1.50".

Casing: This meeting is made of high quality Aluminum.

Finishes: Available in clear anodized aluminum and dark bronze anodized aluminum.
